Business travel of ICDM 2014

1th day: It was about 4 hour flight of Asiana. We moved by taxi and did onsite registration. Taxi moving cost was measured by meter calculator and it was less expensive than thought. It was about 80 RMB. It took about over 30min. Intercontinental Hotel was great. We attened evening demo session where we ate buffet. Most of them are Chinese and they were from US university.

 

2nd day: Breakfast was buffet which was great. I attended research session which was not easy. Nevertherless I tried.

 

At lunch time, I made a Japanese professor as a friend who was a presenter of this conference. And his major was about data mining. He was very kind and seemed good person.

 

Afternoon, I went to Splended China where I could study about chinese various nationalities. You know? There are about 58 nationalities in China. And I found there was another thing I had to look. It was miniatures of famous chinese places. I walked around by dark evening.

 

I had dinner with Mr. Kim.

 

3rd day: After all sessions, we went out using subway. We ate dinner in KFC and returned to the hotel. I watched an american movie in tv and slept.

 

 

4th day: I woke up late and had the last breakfast. We went to the Shenzen airport by taxi.

 

I bought a gift for my wife at duty free shop which was a bookmark and boarded airplane.
