At first, I thought that that sentence was incorrect. But after searching for the grammar, I found it's right ｅxpression perfectly.

• ~ 일 것이다. (will 의 과거)
  ⇒ He told me that he would go there. (그는 거기에 갈것이라고 나에게 말했다.)
• (과거에)~하곤 했었다. ( 과거의 불규칙적인 습관)
  ⇒ After lunch he would go for a walk. (그는 점심 후에 산책을 가곤 했다.)
• (가정의 내용을 포함하여) ~ 일 것이다.
  ⇒ It would be about a mile from here to the school.(여기서 학교까지는 1마일쯤 될 것이다.)
     정확히 측정해 보지 않았지만, '만약 측정해 본 다면'의 의미가 포함되어 있습니다.
• Would you ~? (~ 해 주시겠습니까?) 
  ⇒ Would you open the door? (그 문 좀 열어주시겠습니까?) 
  

would 의 줄인 형태 : 'd (I'd, You'd, ...)
would 의 부정 : would not (wouldn't)
