2. Test stream generation for digital tv software

ATEP의 flow는 다음과 같이 진행이 되는 듯 하다.
2.1 Identification of test items.
Digital TV software modules that handle MPEG-2 TS-formatted test streams either directly or indirectly

include the service information manager(SI), the channel manager(CM), the data broadcast manager(DB) and

the application and resource manager(AM).

2.2 Analysis of input data specifications
Overall, the relationships are divided between syntactic and semantic relations.

2.3 Test scenario extraction

2.4 Generation of the test stream

- Test stream generation
- Encoding and multiplexing

 

5. Comparisons
Our ATEP is a test stream generator for digital TV systems, whereas Tektronix's tools test the stream

itself.
