Reputation

By reputation, requesters refer to others' experience so, they can purchase safely. But some bad person or service providers leave untruth information for malice in which case, it is difficult to make right decision. Comparing reputation is not easy because reputation may not be calculated in quantity standard.

 

Referral

Service providers can analyze requester's purchaing history by which it's possible to select similar candidate users. But how can you compare likeness among them? It's not easy and may leave incorrect result.

 

So, you may use both reputation and referrals. For example, the requester whose name is Ann, is searching for a gift at her father's birthday. She inputs the sentenace following. "What is good as a gift for my father's birthday?" Service provider analyzes her information which may be her father's age, amount of her money and a history of her purchasing. Service provider finds that in many case, candidate users purchased purse whose price is about 30$ and made of leather. It recommends the purse to Ann and provide credible reputation about it. Ann accept information and purchase the purse whose price is 32$ and color is black.
